How can we manage anxiety? Well before that, we need to know if what you are feeling is anxiety by familiarizing ourselves with some of the signs and symptoms. The symptoms of anxiety may include heart palpitations, muscle weakness and tension, fatigue, nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath, sweating, stomach aches or tension headaches, difficulty concentrating, tiredness, constantly worrying, trouble sleeping or trembling to name a few. In an attempt to deal with this menace in the body, blood pressure, heart rate, perspiration and blood flow to the major muscle groups increase, while the immune and digestive functions are inhibited (fight or flight response).

If any of these symptoms sound familiar, you may be suffering from anxiety.
